Conference Proceedings

To each ISBP 2006 participant

Thank you very much for the interesting presentation you gave at the conference. I found the diverse talks and posters very stimulating and would like to thank you again to present your work at this meeting.

I would like to make you aware that selected papers of this conference will be published, after peer review, in a special issue of Journal of Biotechnology. Therefore, I would like to encourage you to prepare a manuscript and submit it by September 30, particularly if your work is already at a state where the results are well supported and an interesting paper can be presented. Papers that will be considered include (i) minireviews, (ii) research papers, and (iii) short communications. I expect the peer review process to be completed by the end of the year, and I anticipate publication of the special issue early in 2007.

Please submit your manuscript electronically by September 30 at the Journal web site and mention in the cover letter ISBP2006:

The web site includes also instructions for authors.

Thank you again for your presentation.

Sincerely,

Friedrich Srienc
Chair, ISBP 2006
