Transportation
Expect generally dry and warm summer weather in late August with the possibility of occasional showers or thunderstorms. High temperatures are usually around 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
 FLIGHT
Arrange for your flight to arrive at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), Humphrey or Lindberg Terminal.
 TAXI SERVICE
The university is approximately 12 miles from the airport, with fares averaging $28.00-$36.00. All cab fares are metered at a rate of $1.90 per mile and include a $3.00 trip fee that is added to the final metered fare, which allows drivers to recoup airport permit fees.
 SHUTTLE
SuperShuttle Minneapolis - St. Paul offers convenient airport shuttle service to and from Minneapolis - St. Paul International Airport (Lindbergh Terminal and Humphrey Terminal). Like a taxi, the shuttle provides door-to-door residential and hotel service. This service is $14 one way, per person.  LIGHT RAIL/CITY BUSES
Light rail train service is available to and from the airport. This might be convenient if you don't have much luggage. Fares range from $2.00 to $1.50 depending on the time of day.
From the airport:
Take the light rail (direction Minneapolis) to the Metrodome Station.
Get on the #16 bus heading towards St. Paul.
Holiday Inn is a short walk from the first stop; third stop is the Radisson; fourth stop is Days Inn.
