AN INTRODUCTION TO THE BRC

The Biotechnology Resource Center (BRC) is a subdivision of the University of Minnesota BioTechnology Institute housed in the lower level of Gortner Lab on the St. Paul campus. The mission of the BRC is to be a center of excellence in biotechnology, which provides:

• an educational environment for training in biotechnology,

• state-of-the-art equipment and expertise to accelerate and support the research process, and,

• critical resources to nurture and develop the biotechnology industry.
